​Set within the wild and dry landscape of County Point- Utah, the Amangiri hotel represents itself as a pocket of modernist luxury.

Against the rock faces, mountains and boulders, the hotel uniquely sets itself apart with its ability to seamlessly mix its concrete geometric architecture with the colours of the surrounding rock formations.

Built to showcase nature, the main swimming pool which is wrapped around an enormous boulder, with the hotel comprising of 34 rooms, each reflecting native American shelters forcing focus on the outdoors- with views second to none.

The terraces, pool (and outdoor beds) help to cater for that desert experience, enabling you to gaze at the ancient desert’s beauty under an array of stars.

The pavilion holds the all-day restaurant, a living room, gallery, library, dining room, and cellar. Two accommodation wings lead off the main building, with 16 suites located on the south end, and another 16 off the North- drawing in views overlooking the untouched valley.

Each suite features floor to ceiling windows, natural stone floors and deserts tones, creating an overall minimalistic look. Each room also has a spacious dressing room, twin head shower, and deep soaking tub. Against the minimalistic tones and furnishings, touches like white woven throws, a fireplace, and a bathtub positioned at the window looking across the landscape make for a special touch.

The property also includes a 25,000ft square foot spa, with its water pavilion hydrotherapy rooms, watsu pool, both indoor and outdoor, single/double treatment rooms and complimentary yoga and Pilates – all overlooking the vast, but beautiful desert.

All corners of the hotel flawlessly reflect the landscape’s meditating views and correlating qualities- after all, Amangiri, does mean “peaceful mountain”.
