Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2018: Models hit the NY runway

Just like previous years, this year, the show really hit the mark.

The month of November signified the countdown to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Models geared up for one of the biggest runway events in the world and were soon taking to Instagram to confirm their casting as models in the iconic show.

Previously held everywhere from London and Paris to LA and Miami, this year, the catwalk took place on the 8th of November at Pier 94 in New York City.

Last year, the brand collaborated with Balmain on some one-off looks for the show, but for 2018, the brand had teamed up with London Fashion Week favourite Mary Katrantzou – best known for her bright, whimsical, colourful ensembles.

Alongside the waves of lingerie, stilettos and sculptural wings, Elsa Hosk was chosen to wear the Victoria's Secret Fantasy Bra. Created using 100 per cent Swarovski Creted Diamonds and responsibly sourced topaz, the piece is deemed to be valued at $1 million.

Some of the biggest names also performed at this year’s show- and they did not disappoint. Stars to take the runway were Shawn Mendes, The Chainsmokers, Halsey, Kelsea Ballerini, Rita Ora, Bebe Rexha, and The Struts.
